How do I transfer my Tesla app ownership?
In the app:

Go to Menu → My Products → [Car you sold]

Press “Remove or Transfer Ownership”

Click “Get Started”

For “Have you sold the vehicle already?”, select Yes

For “Who did you sell your vehicle to?”, select Individual

Press Next
-
Enter Plug’s information — First name: Plug, Last name: Technologies, Email: sold@plug.vin

Press Next
-
Confirm by pressing “Transfer and Remove Vehicle”

You’ll be redirected to submit the verification code Tesla sends to your email. Once done, the process is complete.
