What happens to my FSD, warranty and personal data?

  • FSD: Purchased (lifetime) FSD stays with the car and adds to its value. Monthly subscriptions end when you cancel them and don't transfer.
  • Warranty: Any remaining factory warranty transfers with the car. You don't need to do anything.
  • Personal data: Do a factory reset and transfer the car out of your Tesla account. See How do I transfer my Tesla app ownership?
  • Plug Report access: Our access to your Tesla account ends automatically after the report is done.
